560 State Street
These 20
townhomes are part of a larger neighborhood redevelopment project that
also involved revitalization of an adjacent commercial area and
infrastructure improvements, including street repaving and installation
of traffic calming features and bike lanes. The Neighborhood
Development Alliance (NeDA), a nonprofit developer and service
provider, led the housing component and partnered with the Riverview
Economic Development Association (REDA), which coordinated the
commercial side. All of the townhomes are affordable to low- and
moderate-income households, and 5 were built through a partnership with
Habitat for Humanity. NeDA also offers pre- and post-purchase
counseling to help buyers achieve and maintain homeownership.
