This 17-block HOPE VI project replaces the deteriorated 1950s-era Mill Creek public housing development with nearly 700 new owner and rental town homes, twin homes, and duplexes. Most of the homes will be interspersed throughout the blocks surrounding the former public housing site, although 120 new units will be built on-site. In order to purchase a home in the development, prospective buyers must complete pre-purchase homeownership counseling and join the local homeowners' association.
