The Farm
The Farm, a mixed income development on an 11.5 acre former farmstead in Soquel, California, was a collaboration with a private development and the surrounding community. The Farm not only provided the first major new, affordable rental housing for families in the county in several years, but met wider community objectives to preserve the character of its rural setting. The community also benefits from a new park and childcare center on the site. All of the housing in The Farm is affordable townhouse and multi-family units and a daycare center; the adjacent private development is market rate single-family houses.
