Resources on preventing foreclosures & stabilizing communities
State and Local Action Plans: Learn what other states and localities are planningIn keeping with requirements issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), states and localities receiving direct allocations must post Action Plans online for public comment by November 15, 2008. The Action Plans must then be submitted to HUD by December 1, 2008. While they may be revised and refined in the subsequent months, these initial plans provide an early look at how jurisdictions around the country will be responding to the mortgage foreclosure crisis.
In partnership with the National Housing Conference, the Foreclosure Response team will be collecting and providing links to plans that are posted for public comment as they become available. Click on the state names below to view draft plans and related grantee information. Please contact us if you would like to submit the official plan for your jurisdiction.
